The COSCO Private Capital Energy Index ReportTM

Twice per year, COSCO reports on results from surveys of the COSCO Private Capital Energy IndexTM regarding their investing activities and funds currently available. The COSCO Private Capital Energy Index (or the “COSCO Index”) is a collection of 20+ private capital providers, representing a cross-section of the private capital community with a vested interest in energy (see specific names below). The most recent COSCO Private Capital Energy Index ReportTM (the “COSCO Index Report”) is featured in the box to the right.

COSCO has tracked the activities of these and most of the other important private equity funds and mezzanine providers for the better part of the past decade. While hardly comprehensive, the COSCO Index Report provides the best information currently available on the attitudes and activities of the most serious class of professional financial investors active in the energy arena.

In addition to reporting on the COSCO Index, each COSCO Index Report typically includes an interview of one of the managers from the Index, fleshing out the themes highlighted by that edition’s survey, an article of topical importance by a COSCO member, and a profile of one or more companies, financings, or transactions that shed light on the private capital process and benefits.

Our practice is to hold off displaying the full text of the COSCO Index Report for thirty days after we have mailed it to those on our exclusive distribution list.
