Craig M.I. Campbell graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce, concentrating in Finance. Mr. Campbell has two years experience in the oil and gas industry, resulting from working on a drilling rig for Precision Drilling, in the Sustainable Development department at Suncor Energy, as a Marketing Analyst for Precision Rentals and as an Environmental Policy Analyst with Climate Change Central. Mr. Campbell resides in Calgary. 

2004-Present
Mr. Campbell is a Public Equities Analyst at COSCO Canada Ltd, having transitioned from the private side in January 2008 to focus on public energy companies deserving of growth capital. Mr. Campbell joined COSCO in September of 2004 and is responsible for profiling private energy companies, and performing financial analysis and due diligence on COSCO clients and potential clients.

May 2004 – September 2004
Mr. Campbell was employed as an Environmental Policy Analyst with Climate Change Central, a Calgary-based, non-for-profit organization. At Climate Change Central, Mr. Campbell wrote a discussion paper on shareholder risk resulting from climate change regulations. He also analyzed the financial feasibility of solutions gas flaring regulations set out by “Guide 60: Upstream Petroleum Industry Flaring Requirements” (EUB).

May 2003 – September 2003
In the summer of 2003, Mr. Campbell was employed by Precision Rentals (division of Precision Drilling Corporation), as a Marketing Analyst. At Precision Rentals, Mr. Campbell performed a competitive analysis of Precision Rental’s 14 largest competitors, as well as allocated $70,000 worth of promotional spending.

May 2002 – September 2002
Mr. Campbell worked as an analyst for Suncor Energy Inc.’s Sustainable Development Department. While at Suncor, Mr. Campbell evaluated and analyzed ‘cleaner’ technologies and made recommendations on how Suncor could significantly reduce their release of atmospheric pollutants. Mr. Campbell also calculated the adjusted cost per barrel of oil produced by Suncor to determine the financial impact of the Kyoto Protocol on Suncor.

May 2001 – September 2001
For the summer of 2001, Mr. Campbell worked on an oil drilling rig as a Roughneck and Lease Hand for Precision Drilling Corporation. In the field Mr. Campbell was able to gain invaluable upstream oil and gas experience through learning the operations of a drilling rig.
