JAMES M. MASTERS, born in Calgary Alberta, Canada, was graduated from Pepperdine University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Masters resides in New York City.

June 2007 – Present:
Mr. Masters is an Analyst at COSCO Capital Management LLC. He is primarily responsible for assisting Senior Managing Director, Cameron Smith, with client development and marketing. Mr. Masters assists with all client services including due diligence organization, drafting private placement memorandums, creating client presentations, and maintaining status reports. Mr. Masters is also in charge of updating COSCO’s website and shared document file, publication of its semi-annual PEIR, and maintaining COSCO schedules of capital sources and performing research on new sources that appear in the market. 

January 2007 – May 2007:
In the winter of 2007, Mr. Masters was a Development Intern at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. Working side-by-side with the Director of Development, he led donor research and cultivation, and collaborated with the Director for strategy implementation. In addition, Mr. Masters was the editor and lead writer of case statements, proposals, and strategy papers. This initial phase of the Carnegie Council’s capital campaign raised $150,000 from private contributions. 

October 2005 – June 2006:
Mr. Masters was engaged by Global Training Ministries, Inc. to participate in fundraising efforts aimed at expanding their existing operations. In addition, he was directly involved in an effort that raised over $100,000 in personal contributions for victims of Hurricane Katrina in Mississippi and Louisiana. 

August 2005 – October 2005:
Within a week of the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina, Mr. Masters was on-site at a major relief center in Long Beach, Mississippi as the de-facto Director of Volunteers. In two months, the site hosted over 100 volunteers a week from 35 states. Mr. Masters was responsible for managing logistics and coordinating efforts for community relief and rebuilding.
